What purchases are obligatory with every booking?

You are obligated to pay for the bed linen and the final cleaning. When you book online, these costs are indicated during the booking process. You can also contact our Booking Service Center to request these costs.

Can I specify my preferences, when I make a reservation?

Yes, this is possible as long as you pay the preference costs. When you book online, this possibility is provided during the booking process.
You can also contact our Booking Serivce Center to request the preference costs, or to request specific preferences, such as an apartment number or a lake view.
Your preference is only confirmed definitely if it is specified on your invoice as well as your booking confirmation.

How do I extend my booking?

It is only possible to extend your booking if we have a holiday home available, preferably the one you already stay in, on Resort Walensee. For extending your booking, please send an e-mail to our Booking Service Center. Then, we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

How do I change my booking?

If you wish to change your booking, you can contact our Booking Service Center at all times.
Walensee Apartments is not obliged to accept the changes in your booking that you wish to make after the realization of the agreement.
It is not allowed to change your booking within 30 days until your date of arrival. In this case, the cancellation policy holds.

Do I have to pay booking or amendment fees?

Walensee Apartments does not charge a booking fee.

You can change your booking once for free. After that one time, we may charge you the CHF 30.- amendment fee.

How do I cancel my booking?

If you want to cancel your booking, you can contact our Booking Service Center.

Can I already make a reservation for next year?

When next year's rates are known, you can make a full booking for next year through search & book. When these rates are not known yet, you can pre-book online.

I want to make a booking for employees. Do I get benefits?

Absolutely! When you want to make a booking for employees that are operative in the area of the Resort during their stay, then you can contact our Booking Service Center.

Can I bring a pet?

On Resort Walensee, pets are allowed as long as they are leashed. There are homes available for bookings with pets; you do need to pay the cleaning fee pet in that case.
When you make an online booking, this possibility is provided during the booking process.
You can also contact our Booking Service Center, in order to request the cleaning fee pet.

I am travelling to Resort Walensee by car. What should I take into account?

When you travel to Switzerland by car, we advise you to properly prepare your journey. Here, you can find more information.

What documents do I receive before arrival?

Directly after booking

Directly after booking your holiday home, you will receive an invoice per e-mail. This invoice is also the booking confirmation. We would like to ask you to print this invoice, and to show it when you arrive on the Resort.

Before arrival

In the week before arrival you will receive two e-mails from us with information about your arrival. In these e-mails we will mention your house number, the time when your house is available, how you can receive the key, and how you can find your house and your parking place.

What should I do when I have lost my travel documents?

Have you not received the invoice or the arrival information? In that case, please check your spam folder. Our e-mails could have ended up here.
If you cannot find the e-mail with the invoice or the arrival information, you should immediately send an e-mail to our Booking Service Center. Please clearly mention your full name, phone number, e-mail address, and date of arrival and departure.

Where do I find the address and the route to Resort Walensee?

We advise you to determine your optimal route to Resort Walensee with the help of Google maps. The address details of Resort Walensee can be found on our contact page.
When planning, please take our check-in times into account as much as possible.

I will be arriving at Resort Walensee before 3:00 p.m. or after 6:00 p.m.. What should I do?

When you arrive at Resort Walensee before 3:00 p.m. or after 6:00 p.m., you should let us know in advance, through e-mail.
When you arrive after 6:00 p.m., we will make sure that your arrival will go smoothly. Arrival before 3:00 p.m. is only possible on request.
Without prior knowledge, we cannot guarantee a smooth check-in, if you arrive at the Resort outside the mentioned hours.

How do I find my apartment and my parking spot?

Your house number is mentioned in the travel details that we will send you per e-mail shortly before your arrival. Have you not received this e-mail? Please check your spam folder. The e-mail with travel details could have ended up here.

Can I pay on the Resort?

Yes, you can pay at our guest service with most bank cards and credit cards. In the case that your booking is not fully paid in advance, we may charge additional costs for payment on the Resort.

Is there free WiFi in my holiday home?

Yes, all houses at Walensee Apartments have free WiFi. The login credentials are indicated on the router. The router is often located close to the television in the living room.

How do I file a complaint about my house?

Despite all our good care to offer your house to you in optimal condition, you could find that you have a justifiable complaint concerning your house. If this is the case, please report this complaint per e-mail, within 4 hours after your arrival. We will respond as soon as possible to solve your complaint, as far is that is possible.
